Premier League 4 Sport

St James's Park Visit (15th Apr) - The club supported 36 of the kids from the Premier League 4 Sport programme to a day visit and tour of Newcastle's United's home ground - The tour was an excellent way for the kids to meet up again from the different schools from the project, which included a guided tour around the ground and into the sacrosanct dressing room of the team, then on to the hallowed turf (See Below). The day was completed when then bumped into Jonas Gutierrez on his way out of the club shop. Jonas kindly stopped and signed some autograph's and had a pic taken with the kids ( See Premier Pics) - thanks Jonas

Ice Skating - Centre For Life, Newcastle, (10th Feb,2010) - Forty members of the Premier League 4 Sport project got rid of their gi's and donned their ice skates for a social at Newcastle's Centre for Life. We understand those that attended had a great time with a large number of parents watching on the sidelines. Mind you there were not many 6.0's giving for artistic merit but there were a few "Todd Carty's" in the group. By all accounts everyone had a great time.

Premier League 4 Sport- The club are delighted to be the chosen by Newcastle United Football Club to be invited to deliver a Judo program in our community as part of the Premier League 4 Sport program.
We have been asked to deliver after school Judo activities in four schools, which will be: Sir Thomas Moor, Walbottle High, Sacred Heart Girls School and All Saints in the West End of Newcastle, plus we will be introducing Judo to some of our local primary schools as part of the program.
This is a fantastic opportunity to promote our chosen sport and really push the club and Judo forward in terms of growth and development within the schools and the community by giving positive experiences and interaction with all children.
The schools have really been supportive and we can see this developing into something really special as NUFC have pledged free tickets to matches for school participants, ground tour’s and visits to NUFC’s academy. Added to this the British Judo Association have been influential and will have a great input by giving the players licences and Judo suits which is a massive effort in the support to the program.
We hope to utilise this web page to keep school parents up to speed with the developments of each school program which will include in-house competitions, grading events, Football Match Tickets, Ground Visits, inter- school activities and visits to Newburn Judo Club.
